YoloCam S3 Webcam Review and Video

If you are in need of a webcam to put together a small studio setup for making YouTube videos, information and videos, or just web broadcasting, the YoloCam S3 webcam might be just what you’re looking for.

The YoloCam S3 is a very small webcam that can easily replace much more expensive pro camera systems for your in-house or in-studio setup.

It’s a 24mm lens, f1.8, so it’s very good in low light and produces very good 4K video.

It plugs in USB-C so there’s no type of cam link device needed that you would need to use when using higher-end pro cameras.

The image quality that it produces is every bit as good as higher-end, more expensive cameras, except you just don’t get as much background bokeh. But you do get some because the lens produces background bokeh. Kind of reminds me of like using an f/4 lens instead of maybe an f/2.8 lens.

You can use multiples of the YoloCam S3 webcams together.

It’s very easy to use two of these and match them up color-wise. One is a top down shooting lens, one on the main subject. You could add a couple more in there and you’d have a fantastic little lower cost setup. At only $200 each, it’s one heck of a bargain.

Here is a video that was made on the YoloCam S3. Connecting two of them together, even showing side by side comparisons against more expensive pro cameras.

In the video review it also covers the software interface that allows you to adjust the YoloCam S3 with different color settings and you can even zoom in with the YoloCam S3 and save keyboard shortcuts for zooming in and out and and save different color profiles that you create.

YoloCam S7 One step up from the YoloCam Cam S3 the YoloCam S7, which has an interchangeable lens body that you can put interchangeable lenses on. But the S3 Yellow Cam covers most things that you would need in a small studio setup up. But if you want a little better background bokeh and you want some more zoom range, the higher-end model would be the one to go for because you can switch out lenses as needed.
But as we show in the video, using two yellow cam S3 mini webcams, it’s replacing our need for using our pro cameras for a fraction of the cost.
