New bill introduced to end dual citizenship video.

Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) introduced the Exclusive Citizenship Act of 2025 to establish that citizens of the United States must have sole and exclusive allegiance to the United States.

The “Exclusive Citizenship Act of 2025” would establish that citizens of the United States “shall owe sole and exclusive allegiance to the United States,” according to a text of the bill.

If you’re from the US and living abroad in another country, if this bill passes, this could be a complete disaster for you. If you’re living on Social Security and enjoying your new life in another country, if this bill passes, you may need to move back to the United States or risk losing all of your Social Security payments.

Even worse, if you’ve already purchased a home in another country, if this bill passes you will have one year to move back to the United States so you’ll have to sell your home probably for pennies on the dollar since this will drop the home prices tremendously in other countries.

You’ll have to choose whether you want to be an American citizen or a foreign country citizen.

As part of the bill, if you move to another country, after the bill passes, you’re automatically going to forfeit your American citizenship.

With so many Americans retired that have moved abroad to other countries like Portugal, Panama, Spain, France, Italy and more living on their social security this would be a complete disaster.

We hope that this bill gets crushed and doesn’t even come close to being passed.

We also think that this would violate our 14th Amendment of our Constitution that gives us rights as an American to keep our citizenship.
