Euro RSCG Chicago Names DeAngelo its Executive Creative Director

Euro RSCG Chicago has named New York advertising leader Tyler DeAngelo its Executive Creative Director, bringing the agency expertise he honed during a decade of work creating hundreds of campaigns for brands in almost every business category.

During most of his career, DeAngelo has developed marketing strategies and creative messages within digital and emerging media. He comes to Euro RSCG Chicago from ad firm DeVito/Verdi, where he was Integrated Creative Director. In that role, DeAngelo directed and managed all creative teams working in digital and integrated media, led client integrated media strategies and developed the agency?s digital capabilities across all departments.

Prior to that, DeAngelo was Partner and Creative Director at boutique digital production company Modern Publicity, whose client roster included some of the most creatively trusted traditional ad agencies. DeAngelo also worked in creative for Grey Worldwide, for which he developed some of the first integrated campaigns for clients such as Tanqueray, Captain Morgan, Kmart and Frontier Airlines.

In addition to his new role at Euro RSCG Chicago, DeAngelo is an instructor at the Miami Ad School?s location in New York.

Outside of advertising, DeAngelo enjoys exploring how technology and emerging media can be applied to life in unexpected ways. He has developed Fifth Ave. Frogger, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the classic video game by syncing the cars seen on the screen with those driving down the road in real time. DeAngelo also keeps a gumball machine in his office that distributes candy only by checking in via foursquare.
