Napa Wine Tasting Venue, Bourassa Vineyards Sponsors 18-Hole, Scramble-Style Golf Tournament

Napa, CA (PRWEB) March 28, 2012

Napa wine tasting venue, Bourassa Vineyards, one of Napa Valley’s most distinguished wineries, is joining together with the American Canyon Parent Teacher Organization to sponsor an 18-hole, scramble-style golf tournament for American Canyon Middle School. The tournament will take place on April 28, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Hiddenbrooke Golf Club on 1095 Hiddenbrooke Parkway in Vallejo. Lunch will be at 11:00 a.m. and dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. To register for the golf tournament, participants must pay $ 140 per player before April 6 or $ 160 after that date. It is possible to attend only the dinner for $ 60 per person. The deadline to register is April 22.

?Our enjoyable fundraiser features music, great food, beautiful scenery, a casino-themed night and, of course, our delicious wine,? Dana Perry of Bourassa Vineyards said.

The event is all inclusive, with a putting contest, charming lunch, 18-holes and golf cart, games-on-the-green, casino-themed Masters buffet-style dinner, Bourassa Vineyards reserve wines and a silent auction. There will also be a hole-in-one contest where golfers have the chance to win a new 2012 Ford Mustang.

The American Canyon Middle School student population has doubled within the last four years and the Napa Valley School District’s school budget has shrunken by about 60 percent over those same years. It is the parent teacher organization’s main mission to pick up the slack. All of the funds raised at the golf tournament will benefit the school.

To purchase tickets, view the event on the web at http://www.acmsgolf.com or visit the American Canyon Middle School office on 300 Benton Way in American Canyon.

About Bourassa Vineyards

Bourassa Vineyards produces 3,500 cases per year, and much of the winery’s attention is devoted to the five Bordeaux wine varietals: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Additionally, Bourassa produces a port made via the Solera system – a system that uses fractional blending in such a way that the finished port is a mixture of ages with the average age of the port gradually increasing.

Please set up an appointment to visit with Bourassa Vineyards and enjoy a truly unique tasting and wine-education experience. As Vic Bourassa likes to say, “we look forward to sharing with you our passion for wine and commitment to quality. Cheers and celebrate life!”
