According to the music trade publication Pollstar , Bon Jovi’s tour with his band in 2010 had the highest earnings taking in $201.1 million Bon Jovi’s rock band that was formed in 1983 ,played 80 shows.
The rock band AC/DC from Australia who played 40 shows , came in second, a position that they had last year , the ticket sales from their tour totaled $177 million. Third place was U2, who played 32 shows ,which was the top worldwide act in 2009 , their ticket sales were $160.9 million.
The flamboyant Lady Gaga ,who played 138 shows which was more than any other musician,came in forth place with her sales from the tour totaling $133.6 million. Number five was the rock band Metalica . Michael Buble’s tour which came in sixth , took in $104.2 million.
The Walking Dinosaurs, a educational family show took in $104.1 million earning seventh place. Paul McCartney tour came in eighth place with a total of $93 million in sales.
The Eagle’s ticket sales totaled $92.3 million , were number nine . In tenth place was Rodger Waters , ex Pink Floyd front man , with earning of $89.5 million .
