Christmas shoppers were startled by twin Blasts in Stockholm

Christmas shoppers were startled by two explosions in Stockholm, Sweden. One of the blasts was from a car that blew up on the busy shopping street of Drottninggatan and another about 15 minutes later on another street close by. A man at the second blast was found dead and had been carrying an explosive device ,he was found lying on the ground with blood coming from his stomach .The identity of the man has not been released by the Swedish security police but director of operations Anders Thornberg says they now have a clearer idea about him .It has not been confirmed but some reports on the incident report say the man had been carrying pipe bombs as well as a backpack full of nails .A 28 year old man of Iraqi origin is the suspected bomber according to the Swedish media .A spokesman told the BBC ,The car that exploded had gas canisters and a series of minor explosives. The Swedish police are investigating this case as a crime of terror officials say. They are trying to determine if the dead man was working alone or more people were involved in a conspiracy. They also haven’t determined weather after he had set off the car bomb and was fleeing he accidentally set off the other explosives on himself.
